I am currently working on systems biology, at the Univ. Tokyo.

My research interest are slow growth and death of bacterial cells.
I adopt both top-down and bottom-up type approach for developing the mathematical theory of cellular behaviour.
Basic methodologies are the comprehensive simulation of kinetic model of cellular metabolism for the top-down, and constructing the minimal toy model for the bottom-up approach.
